Belief is something accepted as true without evidence, belief is an object subject to proof. Believe is a function that happens in the brain which is very complex and great organ in the body. Brain is the seat of the Spirit or Mind or Consciousness that’s sealed in it. Thus, if there is a function then it must have a Starting point & an End point, keep in mind that the Messiah has been called as an Author & Finisher in Hebrews 12:2

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;” (Starter & Finisher)

Thus, if anybody have beliefs in God/Jesus and started to believe in him then there must be an end to it. Believe in Jesus must led to the end wherein there is a breaking of the seal of the brain that takes place as the brain is conditioned or sealed or closed that restricts the comprehension of the universe, having a finite Spirit or Mind or Consciousness, it’s impossible to comprehend the things beyond Time and Space.

Once the seal of the brain is broken then there must be a departure of the Spirit or Mind or a Consciousness from the brain that’s passed on from Parents and from previous generations, paving way for the God’s Spirit or the Holy Spirit to arrive into the physical body and seal the brain again. Ephesians 1:13

“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

The Messiah was very keen every time to ask Jews to believe in him because of the fact, that their believes would come to an end when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. John 7:38-39

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water”. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Thus, the Result of believing in Jesus is the Reception of the Holy Spirit into the physical body, and thereafter there shall be no need of further believes in Jesus but would eventually become a witness of Jesus, not just believing in Jesus or remain as a believer for long years.

Only those who received the Holy Spirit into their physical body is saved, not a believer is saved and in fact a believer is in line to be saved, and he may not be saved or he even may become an Apostasy.

Just before his ascension he said, Acts 1:8

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

Unfortunately, throughout the world only believers contrary to his instruction.
